We now offer 'Bite Size Bike Maintenance' sessions with Phil, our Head Mechanic, from £25.
Phil will go through anything you'd like to know or be shown. Learn the best way to repair punctures, perhaps you’d like to set up your gears or maybe you’d like to learn the art of truing your wheels - just let us know and we will tailor a session exclusively for you.
Sessions take place in our state of the art Shimano Service Centre, one of only 43 in the UK.
Phil is Cytech Level 3 qualified, has completed the Shimano Tec Training & has a 1st Class Honors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He will train you to gain new confidence in your interim maintenance & mid ride tweaks.
As well as Heading up our Shimano Service Centre, Phil has worked as Mechanic in a number of cycle challenges including being Neutral Services Mechanic at the 2012 London Olympic Games, was in the World Record breaking Race Across America team in 2013, mechanic for the Race Across Ireland 2013 and is proud to have been in the World Record Breaking team in the Race Across Europe 2018.
