Bike Repairs and Servicing from Arragon Cycles
We have a scheduled booking in service which aims to have you back on the road as soon as possible. As we are central to both the C2C and End to End routes, we are used to seeing emergency breakdowns with customers keen to get back on route as soon as possible and as such are happy to oblige.
For non emergency customers, we will schedule repairs to be carried out in order to limit disruption. If we haven’t got the repair sorted within 48hours, we have a good selection of demo bikes to lend.
Phil is head of Service Centre and is well qualified to deal with any mechanical query. As both a road  and off road cyclist he has a feel and understanding of how the bike works. With a first class mechanical engineering degree and the highest cycle specific qualification going, not only has he this, but probably equally as important, has 5 years hands on experience. With Shimano Service Centre accreditation, we have a full stock of mechanical items as well as Campagnolo, FSA and other leading components. Phil can build wheels to any specification.
Anthony heads up most road bike repairs as he is deeply passionate about road cycling and as an absolute hardcore commuter, has probably come across every conundrum! He is also our resident cycle size expert and is happy to talk dimensions and geometries to ensure you have the optimum cycling position.
John is our touring and mountain bike man. With a background in motorbikes, he can fix hydraulics with his eyes closed. John is our silent mechanic -he likes to head down and crack on with a repair but if you catch him in a sociable moment, he is a Pandora’s Box of quality, useful technical information!
